Best Wedding Planners in Phoenix Arizona
What a night!
We are honored and thrilled to win an industry award as the Best Wedding Planners in Phoenix, Arizona. Just to be included with such a distinguished group of talented professionals is humbling.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was surprised. And I’m not entirely sure what I said during my acceptance speech! I believe I did remember to thank all my colleagues in the room that night. I recognized colleagues who worked with me for that particular wedding. And I also extended thanks to the talented group of event pros I have the privilege of working with throughout the year.
The International Live Events Association gave this award for a wedding I designed and planned in Northern Arizona. This wedding was Flagstaff, a town in Northern Arizona. Because this was a destination wedding, festivities covered 3 days. The first day included guest arrival, the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. And the next day was the wedding. Followed by a farewell brunch on Sunday.
The ceremony was to take place underneath a grand tree. This spot was next to a lake with mountains in the background. Unfortunately, winter decided to come early. So we moved the ceremony to a covered porch. And we added heaters to keep guests more comfortable.
The bride and groom shared their first look at this scenic spot. So they were still able to capture memories in this special space.
The bride had recently learned through a DNA test, that she had a number of siblings. They all were able to attend. And her brothers each took a turn dancing with her since her father was not in attendance. Her new sisters made a quilt as a wedding present. And they presented this to the bride and groom during the evening. Such a thoughtful and memorable gift.
One of my favorite touches was the escort cards and favors. Because these were unique and personalized. We made individual boxes for each guest. And atop the box was a matchbox car. Because the groom works for an auto manufacturer and loves cars!
We attached a card with each guest’s name and their table number. And then inside the box was an edible favor. Because this was a favorite treat of the bride, chocolate covered Oreos! They were amazing I learned because quality control is an important part of my job! Working with Alex and Josh to create their wedding weekend was an event I will always cherish!
